Radial Pulsed Wave Therapy commonly referred to as Shockwave Therapy is a safe and highly effective technique used in physical medicine for the treatment of musculoskeletal conditions. Shockwave therapy is especially effective for difficult, chronic and painful disorders.

There are 2 types of “shockwaves”:

  • Focused: have a controlled and destructive effect on a specific point or body site…ouch!!

  • Radial: a controlled sonic pulse which travels through tissue and causes the body to accelerate its healing process.

At GRSM, we utilize Radial Pulsed (Shockwave) Therapy with a high degree of success for common conditions such as:

  • plantar fasciitis,
  • tennis/golfer’s elbow, and
  • rotator cuff dysfunction including calcific tendonopathies.

Ask us how you can achieve pain-free relief and return to full form in the least amount of time….you’ll be glad you did!
