Katya graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2016 with an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology where she discovered her interest in human movement and health. Katya went on to pursue an Orthotic and Prosthetic Technician Diploma from George Brown College. During her time in the program at Sunnybrook hospital, Katya’s interest in the Pedorthic profession was ignited where she had the opportunity to build orthotic devices for patients in need. After completing her diploma, Katya joined Pedorthic Services Canada where she sharpened her skills as an Orthotic Technician fabricating devices and collaborating with clinicians. As her interest in the clinical aspect of the field grew, she decided to pursue her certification in Pedorthics. After spending 5 years in the industry, she is excited to be a part of the KRA team serving clients in the Waterloo Region.
Katya was the coordinator of many programs while in school and ran the CARL at RIM PARK. She is highly valued by friends, family and colleagues for her impressive leadership and organizational skills. She has enjoyed competition in basketball, softball, volleyball, and ultimate frisbee and spends time on the golf course and baseball diamond. Kitchen creations, DIY projects and time with family and friends take high priority in her life.

SPORTS MEDICINE

Our Registered Massage Therapists use preventative and restorative therapies to help you maintain, rehabilitate and improve physical function or relieve your pain.

ATHLETIC THERAPY
Our Certified Athletic Therapists use a full range of treatments to rehabilitate, prevent injury and help you return safely to your sports and other activities.

FOOT ORTHOTICS
Most foot problems are avoidable with proper preventative foot care and maintenance. Our goal at Feet on the Go is to provide the highest quality nursing foot care as a first line of defense against those foot issues that can detrimentally affect overall health and quality of life.
