Kristy Commerford, PT, MPT, BSc, CDT, Registered Physiotherapist

Kristy graduated from the School of Physical Therapy at the University of Western Ontario in 2008. Prior to completing the Master of Physical Therapy program, Kristy completed her Honours Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science at the University of Waterloo in 2006.

Since graduating from UWO, Kristy has worked with a wide range of athletes and active individuals alike including the UWO Women’s Field Hockey Team, Banting Secondary School Seniors Boys Hockey Team (London), London Runner Distance Club and the Run for the Toad Trail Race. In her spare time, Kristy enjoys hot yoga and walking her dog.

Prior to joining GRSM, Kristy completed the Sport Physiotherapy Fellowship at the Fowler Kennedy Sport Medicine Clinic. Kristy has also pursued further physiotherapy education in the areas of manual therapy, Combined Decongestive Therapy (CDT), manual lymphatic drainage for lymphedema/chronic swelling, acupuncture, McKenzie techniques and sport physiotherapy.

Kristy is a physiotherapist and the student co-ordinator at the GRSM Kitchener – South location and will also be working out of GRSM’s newest location in the Conrad Medical Building.
