If you do not currently receive our GRSM News and are interested in being added to our distribution list, please contact Tripho Bogias at tbogias@grsm.ca
At GRSM, we support community groups that promote activity as part of a healthy lifestyle. Currently, we support:
- Run for Life – we learned of Run for Life through John Carson, a registered massage therapist who is part of the GRSM team. This group promotes walking and running for all ages as part of living a healthy lifestyle. GRSM-Cambridge volunteers have led walking programs for all ages around the neighbourhood. GRSM also offers volunteer event coverage for The Classic Mile which is an exciting two-day event held at Galt Collegiate on a yearly basis. Please link here (www.runforlife.ca) for more information on the Run for Life organization.
- Run for the Toad – GRSM provides local medical coverage (sports medicine physicians, certified athletic therapists and registered physiotherapists) for this one-day annual event held late September/early October. Run for the Toad is a 25km-50km run/walk and is run by George and Peggy Sarson. "The Toad" was ranked the #1 in Canada's Top 10 MUST-DO Trail Race by Canadian Running Magazine in 2010. www.runforthetoad.com
