Orthopaedic Surgeon

Dr. Dimitri E. Haddad BSc, MD, FRCSC 

Dr. Haddad is an Orthopaedic Surgeon subspecializing in shoulder surgery and surgical sports medicine. He is a staff surgeon at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital, Consultant at Grand River Sports Medicine Centre and is an Associate Professor (Adjunct) with the Degroote School of Medicine at McMaster University.

Dr. Haddad completed his undergraduate degree in Science at McGill University and his medical degree at Queen's University. He did his residency training in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Ottawa. He then went on to complete a one-year subspecialty fellowship in Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy in Ottawa in 2007. This fellowship focused on arthroscopic reconstructive procedures of the shoulder and knee.

Dr. Haddad grew up in Kitchener and represented the city in soccer, track and field, and basketball. He co-captained his high school football team and went on to start at defensive-back for the varsity football teams at both McGill and Queen's. At present, he is an avid recreational hockey player who will still play most any sport you'll let him.
